I, for one, am completely tired, worn out and verging on angry when people, including marketing dipsh*ts, generalize the Great Plains as the font of "Aw shucks, I'll give you a square deal." If anything, the Great Plains represent the exact and precise opposite. It is a place where Native Americans were ruthlessly and systematically killed via a progrom of genocide that would make Stalin proud. (Not that it in any way shape or form is different than any other place in the hemisphere, but still.) It is the place that gave us the most shocking landgrabs in American history that only stopped upon passage of the Taylor Grazing Act. It is the home to two of the most duplicitous, rapacious and without-conscience multinational corporations in existence today -- Monsanto and ADM (sorry, southern Minnesota -- I've been there and you're basically North Iowa ( ... )

The Jame Gumb Burger Company.
