Seriously, prop 8 in California is probably going to go through? And other ones just like it have already passed in a couple other states?

It is awful. You'd think that California of all places wouldn't allow something so homophobic and narrow minded go through. There's a protest going on tonight but sadly I don't live in California so I can't go :(

This sucks, but things will change for the better soon.

I know, right?! And I really don't see how this could pass in a state like California. I can perhaps see it passing in the other states, but California? There's a protest tonight but since I don't live in California, I can't go. Otherwise, I'd be there in a second.

i'm still shocked, i cannot believe it. it is unfuckingbelievable that something like that would be DENIED to people, their right to love whoever the god damn hell they want. this is ridiculous, so dissappointing, just a very clear indication of how many people are so shitlessly narrow minded even now in this day and age.

It makes no fucking sense at all. Especially since it only passed with 51%, just barely. I can't believe it even got that close in California. The other states, they're not as liberal as California but it still is no excuse to pass something like this. It's so absurd that this is even an issue and that religion is the reasoning behind all this debate when this country was founded by people who wanted to be free from religious rules.

Things will get better one day.

I think Florida was one of the states that passed that not only is gay marriage not allowed, but also all unmarried people also can't adopt kids or be foster parents. That is fucked up. The whole thing doesn't make any sense and it makes me so mad when I think about it.

However, you're right, eventually things will change. We just have to be patient.
