...well, maybe I should look into it, just to make sure? Um, do you have .cbr files you can upload

:D! You should definitely look into it! I am off to work right now, but I will start uploading when I return home. (Ms Marvel is also in Alias some! So it can't hurt to know more about her. Right?)

I just want to know why these artists think that women don't wear bottoms to bed.

It does make sense, if you go by two principles: you want them to wear as little as possible while still being likely; and hey, they already wear less than that out to the beach, don't they.

This ignores the emotional difference between bikini bottoms and panties, the likelihood that 'I wear this in my home' =/= 'I go out on my balcony/open the front door/get my mail in this', and also the fact that even a superhero probably has a few pairs of undies with holes and burnt-out elastic* that she might wear to bed. But thinking like that ruins the fantasy, I'm sure.

*Every time she tries to buy a few new pairs, someone throws a car through the lingerie store's window.

Well, I don't when it's really warm, but I also find a damn bathrobe before I answer the door.

God, I love Carol. The new series is sort of mixed, but I'm really loving the current secret agent stuff.

Agreed. It's a fun book! And she leads her team in more than just name here; I appreciate that.

In fairness, Spider-Man has answered the door in not much more than a bowtie and a smile his undies, a couple of times. Also in fairness, that was played for LAUGHS, not sexy. Peter, honey, it was a sweet idea but you need to check that just your wife is at the door before you open it, next time.

Ms. Marvel does indeed rock like rocking, and I need icons of her! Although ... her leadership frustrates me a bit - not so much in her own series, but in Mighty Avengers, because I can't shake the feeling that Wasp would be a better leader, or, at least an equal one, but we'll never find out how they actually match up or what the legitimate dynamics would be because Janet's been dumbed down. Bendis really doesn't understand her.

Ha! Poor Spider-Man. Obviously he's been influenced a little too much by superhero culture.

Although ... her leadership frustrates me a bit

I've been avoiding Mighty Avengers partly for that reason. The first issue felt very much like "Carol, please be the leader with the understanding that I, Iron Man, will make all the calls" (although that is clearly no longer an issue). On top of that, I wasn't all that impressed with the writing or the reinstatement of thought bubbles, and I was kind of still boggling over Black Widow's being pro-reg.

I don't know much about Wasp, but I wouldn't mind having her back on top. Carol was hesitant to accept the Avengers leadership position in the first place, and she has her secret SHIELD programme to run, so it's not as though it'd be all that hard to have her step down to avoid overextending herself.
