My date night was nuked thanks to The Douche yet again not being able to put together a schedule. I'm at work tonight instead of enjoying an epic four days off from HelpDeskThisIsKimberley. My schedule flips from being off on Fri/Sat to Sun/Mon this weekend. I'd initially offered to work either

Argh you're one of those aggravating by-the-seat-of-their-pants cook/bakers like my aunt. I don't get a chance to cook much so I asked how she made her wonderful chicken soup. She said she threw a chicken and whatever else was in the fridge into some water and cooked it until it was done. To a non-cook that who needed measurements that was no help.

Do you recall how you made each improvised cake so you could make it again?

Anyway I'm so happy for you that your life is getting better - you so deserve it.

Oh my gods, I so want cake for breakfast now!!! Cream cheese frosting. Buttercream might be way too sugary. Ganache can get melty.

PLease, how do you make your cream cheese frosting? My sister had a recipe years ago for a chocolate cream cheese frosting, I'm cryin' to use it now and can't FIND it!
