Wow. I've been paying more attention to Zahi Hawass ever since one of y'all brought up elements regarding his reputation of which I had been unaware. I realize one does nothing regarding antiquities or archaeology in Egypt without his blessing, but I still have to say the man is starting to scare me

*facepalm* Oh gods, Fucking Budge Hawass. You're totally right about that btw. This is the man who dictates not only who gets to practice in Egypt but also what paradigms are in play. Bastard. He also took one archaeologist's work and published it in his own name!! O.O Asshat. Can't name names unfortunately but woo she is unhappy and with damn good reason.

And yeah, I keep expecting the glowy eyes and creepy voice too. Yeesh.
