I need to watch this again, repeatedly. And possibly write missing scene fic. And then watch the episode some more.

DAMN.

I KNOW.

*flails*

(I think Ben Edlund has been reading Barb's fic, btw. :D This was such a shout-out to her Drunken Sam-fu stories.)

I'll totally be watching this many times. And not just because of the glimpses of Sam skin that we got....

[And by "FANTISTIC" in that first paragraph, I assume you mean "FANTASTIC." ;)]

And, awwww, a little love for the Wincesters, too.

SERIOUSLY. A LOT of love for them. I remember saying to the girls I was watching with that the slashers were going to flip; I don't have to ship them to recognize subtext when I see it.

Also? I totally melted at the way Sam turned facedown and sort of snuggled into the mattress. Why was that SO HOT? Total Gen Porn. Wet Sam, too. Mmmm.

One of the girls I was watching with literally screamed out loud when they showed the Maggie look-alike doll. That really made the moment for me.

The plot was very Wait Till Helen Comes. Which, you know, is fine, because that book is fucking creepy.

Randomly: I'm delighted that Claire Bennett has replaced Lana Lang for pimpin' the Neutrogena.

I know! I love her! (And think she's really hot. And then feel like a total perv because she's a minor. But...I'm only 19! Surely that helps...or something...) Plus, Kristin Kreuk drives me up a wall.

Wow. Sam is huge. *lusts* ( ... )

*pinches you* Thanks for the catch, missy. *pinches you again, though*

Ben was totally flirting with all the fangirls, both the Wincesters and the GenFen. I loved JA's line delivery beyond words to describe right there. Oh, man. So. Cute. *pets Dean*

And, believe me, the girls watching the ep with you weren't the only ones wishing they were hugging Sam at the end. He's so gorgeously solid and massive. The way he snuggled into the mattress was alsd;ghahnrewj;tnq3

Yeah. They were so flirting with us in this ep. All of us.

I would have loved to have been there when that girl screamed. That would have been so AWESOME to witness -- I love those kind of moments so much.

And speaking of AWESOME...I think it's hot that you think she's hot because, dude, she's barely a minor and you're barely not a minor. :D See? It all works out.

The mattress snuggling alone will make me rewatch that ep again soon. *daydreams*

The scream was really excellent, and completely unexpected. :)

Dude. She's GORGEOUS. Just...the hair and the smile and the skin and healthy little athletic body...RRROWR.

Ahem.

The dolls *shudders* creepy, creepy dolls just freaked me out. Representing innocence lost? Also with the sisters' relationship a creepy mirror of Sam & Dean, the dollhouse is like the mirror in the mirror?
I think that Sam hasn't told Dean (or us) everything -- that his premonition dreams about jessica dying and his guilt over not doing anything about it may not be the only reason his eyes bled in Bloody Mary. We all think Sam is wearing his heart on his sleeve -- maybe he's playing it closer to the vest than we know. (Giving JP's acting the benefit of the doubt here)Maybe Sam knows of a good reason to fear the psykids because he he knows he has reason to fear himself.
Great episode.

This is a solid argument. The thing is, if he's going to ask what he did of Dean, he'd damned well better cough up the final details he's holding back. Sam is totally my primary Winchester boyfriend, but he's gotta let me see why he's freaking the fuck out the way he is.

I really loved this ep. I gotta hit the sack but, yowza, I am so gonna get my geek on with this.

I can't wait for your geek! I so love your geek. :) You're right, Sam's freaking out does not seem justified based on the behavior that we have seen from him. On the surface Dean seems to be the loose cannon and Sam the steady one. And yet, thinking about Something Wicked and John's words to dean about him nurturing the family -- how can dean truly be a losse cannon and carry that respnsibility? Maybe Sammy, indulged a bit, spoiled a bit as the younger sibling, the one w/ the hutzpa to tell John 'fuck you I'm going to college' -maybe there's a wild side to sammy we haven't seen yet its hard to say what motivates Sammy.
I tend to think that rather than being an actual loose cannon, dean is simply wound so tight that he snaps upon occassion.
I need an icon w/ drunk sam slouched in the chair looking out from under his bangs captioned "You're Bossy!"

P.S. I don't think Sam would ask Dean what he did if he was sober. Which might be part of the reason he got drunk. Cuz sober, Sam is too thinky to not get that its kinda shitty to lay that on Dean. In Croatoan, Sam tried to get Dean to go -- to live w/out him. But Dean sat his ass down and wouldn't budge. Sam crying there is one of my favorite parts of that episode. I didn't get woe is me from that -- I got frustration and sorrow 'Dude! Dumbass! Don't you get it? I'm a monster! Go already!"

Um....woah. That's about all my mind can handle right now. This episode... But I just wanted to tell you that the moment that Sam turned and snuggled face down into the bed? ALMOST pulled my eyes from Dean. *g*

Dude. All I wanted to do was crawl through the screen and wrap myself around Sam's massive back when he snuggled down into the mattress. That is, since I couldn't be the mattress myself. Oh, man, but he looked good in this ep. Huge and good and ewlrjadfhna;dha *flails*

Yeah.

Sam. Woof.

Given I'm not a fan of King, I'm glad you pointed out all the references. Oh pick up your jaw, girl! I hate horror movies and books. I did think that all-of-a-sudden drunk Sam was a bit off though.... he usually does angst longer. But it was interesting to see Dean chew him out for it only because it was in the middle of a job. Hmm, now that I think about it, he didn't seem that shocked by his reaction. Probably because of what he pointed out earlier about expecting more angsting from Sam ( ... )

Ohhhhhh am I the only one that wonders if maybe Sammy's sweet on Ellen?

Hooray! Another one.

I have no thinky meta about the ep, but I thought that Sammy might be sweet on Ellen from the very first time, she showed up. So glad, that I'm not the only one.

Heh. I totally think Sam is a little sweet on Ellen. I've thought that from the start, too. He just has to have a tiny thrill every time she calls him "Sweetie" because that's so far on the other side of the world from what he's used to. :D
