Computer setup question

Because of the recent "rebuilding" at the apartment, I have the opportunity to start with a clean slate how my computer will be set up in the room. It'll be one large/two small flatscreen monitors, a printer, books and the occasional cat.

If applicable, how do you have your desktop computer set up in your house? Any suggestions/warning/etc?
