A friend was faced with an interesting problem. They tend to fall asleep listening to music on their Windows laptop, but hated leaving their machine on while they slept. Because of the recent "rebuilding" at the apartment, I have the opportunity to start with a clean slate how my computer will be set up in the room. It'll be one large/two small flatscreen monitors, a printer, books and the occasional cat.

If applicable, how do you have your desktop computer set up in your house? Any suggestions/warning/etc?
