You're the only person I know who can turn utter bleakness into a small slice of heaven. You take "Yukimura is an ass" to new heights; he pushes Sanada's last buttons, then he does something to make it just enough better to get him through the next round of ass-ness. Your Sanada -- I don't know if I ever told you this in comments to other Dénoument-verse fics -- he's very strong and still got all his "Sanada"-ness while being very much a Japanese female. With the patience of a saint. Akutsu as coach slays me, btw. Smoking and swearing and winning. I like him as a character. And their apaato! *shudders* What a horrid, stinking little space. What a vivid picture into their early years together. Wonderful work, as always.

But of course, despite Yukimura dumping his dirty equipment all over, dribbling on the toilet seat, smoking, underage drinking, not helping with anything or expressing much gratitude for all the shit Sanada does for him, Sanada still loves him. And he loves Sanada.

The Akutsu as coach, well, stems from a terrible inside joke. And it oddly works...Akutsu can't be a posterboy for an unwed teenage mother Fail!

At least there are times when Yukimura does it right. But being a focused guy, we can't ask much. Not even being a sniper. I loved the neighbours, btw. ;D

And Jackal!, being the insightful friend he is, he just know, or Sanada is that trasparent. ^^;;

Also loved ninja!Renji. I do crave pickles smetimes, you know.

A lovely piece, filled of Yukimura being a bit of a jerk, with ugly sweaters but still loving Sanada a lot.

I do dont know how you do it! this is one of the best stories about a guy acting like a guy I have read in ANY fandom. Both of them really and one is a girl!! bitter sweet but lovely

your details as always are the amazing part really feels like a real story, real world. I wish I could explain better in my bad English do you speak Czech? ;)

I haven't read your stuff in a while and you still do this thing where you read and feel like a voyeur. ♥ I don't think I ever told you this, but your writing - especially Sanada's POV - reminds me a lot of one of my favourite Polish movies, kind of a cult classic around here. I keep waiting for Sanada to snap and kick a puppy and watch it flyyy.

AKUTSUUUUUU. And curses, my Akutsu icon's one of the ones that are inactive D: FUCKING MOTHER. Yukimura smoking is kind of hot (because I'm immature and fail to recognise that it's nasty, wrong and smells, and because I smoke like a chimney myself) and I want Yukimura smoking while a) he fucks Sanada over a table b) Sanada sucks him off. (By the by, has Denouement!Yukimura cheated yet? He should, 'cause that makes for some good drama.)

And just so it doesn't look like I'm all nastiness, this made me think of "Such Great Heights". (I love the song - overrated and done-to-death as it may be - so don't go all D: there) /sap

Babushkas are more Russian... But if you're referring to the headscarf, I think that's pretty universal across the globe AND YES SANADA IN A BABUSHKA IS GRAND. Especially if it's impromptu, not really meant to be babushka, actually Niou's old smelly blanket, and a desperate attempt to hide Kirihara somewhere when Yukimura enters the room. Or if they do a school play and what do you know, Sanada gets the shaft.

(Massu, ahahah, for a moment there I sat here wondering, since when do you obsess over NewS? :D)
