On Weddings and Church Stuff

Yesterday, after... 5? 6? years of being together, Dana and Uriah finally tied the knot! That's very sad about your friend Edith. I'm glad that you got to spend some time with her.

You brought up the very thing I dislike about weddings. The bride and groom are too busy making a point to socialize with everyone there, and most of the time, you either know one or both of them, and maybe no one else. So you just sit there like a bump on a log and feel weird.

I think I'll be bucking some tradition for my wedding. Instead of just seating people together to SEAT them in groups based on arrangement of the room and who they're related to, I think I might make a way for those people who don't know each other and are sitting at the same table to make conversation with each other. Must think on this some more.

Thank you for inadvertently giving me an idea :)
