Note to my f-list:
Not that anyone really talks to me much online these days except Luke (::waves at Luke::), but for the record, along with feeling kinda anti social, I've also been reading, like, an actual *book* instead of just fan fiction like I usually do (Rhapsody by Elizabeth Haydon, if anyone cares. Doesn't move quite as fast as some of ( Read more... )

I've never had to travel two hours for three hours of work, but I have had to travel a half hour for only 45 minutes of work, and with gas prices the way they are these days (because we stupid Americans have no nice, convinient train system to get us from place to place, and depend rather on our gas guzzling SUVs with only one or two people inside them. /bitter liberal tree hugger), I doubt I even broke even when it comes to earing money for the gas I used.

eh, i spend the day lazing about and tomorrow i shall work and complain that the people upstairs who handle paperwork didn't give me my raise because of something complecated, so i go to my boss tomorrow. And yeah, at least you own a car x.x i don't. I'm saving up for one though, but it won't be an SUV XD... just a small car. And I didn't go because with our trainsystem you never know if you might be able to get back home in time, and everyone else was like... wtf dude stay home.

Staying home sounds like a good plan. Tis what I am doing today. YAY for the YMCA not being open on US Independance Day!

EEE!!! I LOVE that book!!!! Mom and I started reading it right after it came out and then had to impatiently wait for the rest of the series to follow. She's a great author! Great book! Interesting story! Music! Prostitution! Immortality! What more could you ask for?!?

So far I am quite pleased. I got the box set from Amazon.com awhile back (yay not having to wait for the next book to come out!) and it is a very engauging story.

The first three are great. Then she went and wrote a 4th book... that one didn't flow as well as the first ones did. Still good, but it was supposed to be a trilogy, and then all the sudden there's another book... didn't work so well for me. But that's just me. **shrug**
