We totally need to find a babysitter to get out to see it in the theatre. I can send Joe out on his own (he likes action movies in the thratre morfe than I do) but I like the Ironman movies darn it!

If you don't mind waiting a week or two, I can finally give in to PayPal pestering me to set up an account (I've bought a few items from Etsy-type sellers. Well, actually I've "donated" to said sellers since one was a museum fund, and the other was an author who self-published the last book of her series after Ace Publishing/Penguin Books bailed on her but she couldn't actually officially make money on it yet due to copyright reasons, but she still wanted to make it available as soon as possible and happily accepted donations to the cause) and send a few bucks your way once I get my next paycheck. Think of it as a really late Birthday present. Or a reeeeeeeeeeally early anniversary present? Or hey, Mother's Day gift! Perfect excuse!

Because man, I don't say this often what with being an avid "wait until it comes out on DVD"er myself, Iron Man 3 really is the kind of film you want to see at least once on the big screen.

Now that he does officially have a job and is just on vacation, we are off financial lockdown, still being careful since there is a paycut looming but not completly shut off from all things fun. So it really is just finding a baby sitter. I lost the phone number for our regular high schooler and am not sure how to get a hold of her.
