I was torn between being disappointed and enjoying the Castle finale and like you I was pissed that KATE was the one who apologized. You're right if this had happened at the beginning of the season it would have been much more believable because the emotions would have been building. But it wasn't. Ah well some of it was nice.

I wanted them together so much, and this has just RUINED IT for me. I'm still angry, apparently, though I've been trying not to think about it. Kate did not need to apologize, period, and I hate that they have been stripping her of her agency over and over and over and over and over again.
