Ohhhh! Goat Heads! Evil Evil Evil Bastards.

You have no idea how many tires I went through on my bicycle out in Washington because of those stupid plants.

No, they weren't Goat Heads - I thought they might be at first, but these things aren't sturdy enough to take out a bike tire. No, they're more like wheat grain, only smaller, skinnier and pokier. Kind of light whiteish-yellow, the grain itself is maybe a half a centimeter long with some with some grassy filiment thingies sticking out of one end. The plant itself grows pretty low to the ground, maybe about 6-10 inches high. I think it might be cheatgrass.

Ah. I seem to recall some of that up at camp. Not too bad though, I guess Camp was high enough in the mountains that it was out of that territory.
