Not long for Washington

One week from today, I will be on my way across country to live and work in Washington state for one whole year. The idea doesn't scare me nearly as much as it did when I first accepted the position, and I can honestly say I am really looking forward to the experience. Well you guys will have to go to the 5th largest Zoo in Wisconsin! Also make sure you stop by the highly debated Jesus statue. Eraahhh.... Worlds Largest Round Barn! Annnnnddd uuummmmmm.... Actually, that's it. Even the city website's visitor page doesn't give that much. ( http://ci.marshfield.wi.us/misc/profile.htm )

Marshfield is "Best Place to Live in Wisconsin and Eighth Best Place to Live in America" though. Hard to top that.

I think she saw the controversial Jesus Statue one of her first visits over here, actually. She hasn't seen the worlds largest round barn, though, so I am totally driving by that, and weather permitting, I actually wouldn't mind walking around the big part of our zoo and get some exercise in there.

Otherwise, though, my plan consists of taking her to the YMCA, maybe catching a movie at the movie theater, and hitting the used bookstore I used to work at (Thimbleberry Books) and The Daily Grind. And that's all I got.

I liked the Jesus Statue better before it was painted.
