When the world comes crashing down...

I had the scare of my life yesterday. All the work I put into my senior project for the past 8 months or so, give or take, I'd accidentally written over the files on my computer. That is the exact way I lost all my Beatles music. But that was more of an 'oh that sucks! I'm an idiot' moment than an actual crisis.

Your way of dealing with crises is definitely was more organized than mine; I just resign myself with the mindset of "Screw it! I will just do my best with what I have right now, and if I fail there there's nothing I can do about it." Then I go drink a boatload of tea... My stress relief.

Ah yeah, I have those, "Ah screw it, I lost my favorite keychain, whatever" moments but this was more like,"Holy shit my life is over!" Haha well technically I was exaggerating but I definitely did not want to get left back another semester bc of some BS. I am SO over school already. I wanna finish!

And I just started trying to think this way when it comes to dealing with stuff. Believe me, before that, as you can see in earlier posts, my way of dealing with stress wasn't working and sent me to ERs thinking I had contracted Umbrella viruses and in fact, it was all just anxiety. So yeah, totally new to this method too haha. But I agree, tea is definitely a helper!

Anyway, thanks! Hope I get it! And thanks for the comment. :D

Yeah I still do it too and then when I catch myself, I try to stop. It's only natural sometimes.

Yeah I'm glad I read that passage too. It really helps me out here and there. Hope it's helpful to you too. :D
