During the course of writing this fic, there were two scenes I ultimately scrapped for one reason: they were from Dawn's point of view. The first scene I had no qualms about cutting, but the second was 3,000 words of the story that while not necessary, was an insight to the "behind the scenes" before Buffy finds the dead body in the woods.
