I think my favorite part, aside from the whole Sam/Buffy scene, which was brilliant by the way, was that it did not end happy, and now there's no reason for the horror that was the Eclipse storyline.
I find myself interested in the Buffy/Aro story, and where she will be in 2 years. I'd also like to know how she gets out of being the messenger. Because it's Buffy. She has to find a way out. Even if it's to die again.
I didn't want a happy ending, because falling in love with a vampire does not give happy endings, unless the vampire is an evil bastard and kills the girlfriend. It's happy for the vampire.
I've been thinking about a prequel and sequel (oh god, shoot me now), so maybe you'll get to hear the stories. Right now, I'm focusing on another crossover ('tis a secret), so who knows when I'll get to this.
