The wait is over- I have in my possession Fruits Basket #13! Squee! I don't want to give too much away because some people have not read it yet... but I will make some comments, just to express my joy-

The student council scare me. They're almost distract from the series, IMO.

AkaneKitty's magna recommendations:

Godchild: Dark, Gothic, and very pretty.
Sakura Taisen: Theater, steam machines, and more!
Midori Days: Even though I don't like harem stories, it didn't start off that way and I like the male character (i.e. he isn't deliberatly leading the girls on). I just can't warm up to Midori for some reason. I like his classmate more.

The council members are just annoying- oh well, it's for Yuki's chara development...

Anyway, I like Godchild very much- the Scold's Bridle storyline was my favorite. It's like, "OK, how can this story get any more twisted?". Gotta love that.

As for Midori Days, I prefer the guy's classmate also. (Been a while since I've read it, so the names are fuzzy.)

Recently, I've gotten into the Loveless series- It's an interesting read, fighter units and secret names, weapons of choice are words. Maybe I'll get the second one when it comes out...
