Finally got all the HDTV stuff installed. Came downstairs to workout with the Wii, and the DirectV box won't turn on. I call customer service. They start with, "Now I want you to go to the box and turn on the power button. Now make sure the connections in the back of the box are tight. Early Monday morning, still dark out. Things are still hushed and quiet with remnants of night. Yet it is time to go to work. It's Monday. The holidays are over. Time to see what the new year will bring!

Slow winter day. Clam chowder and biscuits. Exercise on the Wii. Try to get my printer to do my bidding printing photographs. Not happening. A lot of time in print and online manuals without the result I want. Play with the dog.

Today i spent the entire day editing photographs. It turns out that I edited exactly one hundred photographs. As i write, Apeture tells me it i sending them to a web page on Mobile Me. It is taking quite some time. But that is what one should xpect when uploading 100 photographs ( Read more... )

Another weekend gone..... What did I do this weekend? Hang out with mom. Bought some tee shirts. Lots of drum practice. Reading along in Gerald May's "Dark Night of the Soul..." Tomorrow is a work day. Then Saturday I have a drumming workshop to go to. Sunday I could go to a drumming concert, a meditationl meeting or nothing at all...because on Monday I am on a plane that takes off at 7am in the morning to go see my new granddaughter. Yay!

I became a grandmother today. :-) Her name is Olive Lily Aubuchon. And seriously; she is beautiful!
