A Late Night Robin Hood Review...Um...What???

Having watched Robin Hood tonight I'm left with an empty, confused feeling. What the hell was that??? Was it Robin Hood or a medieval soap opera? Are you kidding me with all this family relations crap? I mean, it was like watching the actors perform bad fanfiction. Pretty much how I felt about the episode!

So now I have to go back and watch the first few episodes to determine if Guy and Robin acted at all like they knew each other. I could swear that they didn't. Not to mention I thought Robin's father died while he was away (or maybe I'm remembering the Kevin Costner movie here). Guy has said all along that he grew up in France so what the heck was he doing in Nottingham?

THANKYOU! This had me confused also and I was pretty sure they never showed any recognition to each other, and I didn't Robin ask Gis once how he knew of him? I thought it was all to do with Gisbourne going to the Holy land to assasinate Richard? So considering this, everything else doesn't fall into place and instead left me rather confused and wondering what the heck was going on? Going to watch the first episode of Season One to try and figure it all out in my head to something that actually makes sense.

So who the heck is this Archer person and will he end up replacing Robin since Jonas is leaving?

Well it wouldn't be a very subtle thing if he did but then subtle is not exactly the writers' strong suit is it?

I'm more confused now than I was before.

I'm pretty sure this was the April Fool's Day episode and the writing staff was replaced by a collection of middle school fanfic writers.
