If she's so against you going up to New York, I'm curious why she let you move to the US in the first place. >_>

It's not so much New York that she's against. She just doesn't want me taking an out-of-state trip with some strange man she's never met.

Good point...

Then again, she can't really stop you unless she hops on a plane over here, right?

Exactly.

I'm going to at least try to convince her, but I'm going, no matter what she says.

Oh! What a coincidence! I had a brilliant idea for the shop as well:

You see, I've been thinking that I could put my expertise in fashion products to good use here. So I've taken the liberty of rearranging all the products according to my taste rather than by vendor. Surely this will assist the customer in finding the product for them!

I've only gotten through with isle 1. It's so much to do. But you'll help me continue the project tomorrow, so we should have it done by the end of the weekend.

I'm sure Atthis will be pleased.

Thus does she throw herself into the model's clutches to save her boss' beloved shop. remylee December 8 2010, 23:40:02 UTC
Thera... I think your taste might be a little too sophisticated for too many of the people in Liberty to understand.

And we might want to wait until after the Christmas shopping season to re-arrange the whole store. Clutter drives people off.

Besides, I thought we were spending Friday shopping. How will we get all of that done and shop?

Oh my. Dear Remy, I do believe you may have a point. I forgot that Atthis's shop tends to lure in... the common individual. That is so dissatisfying.

That's it. I am left with no choice but to renovate Atthis's shop after Christmas. We will have a grand opening for New Years! We will pull in only the most magnificent socialites and display the best of Atthis's work. Liberty needs a little exposure to sophistication.

Yes, I'm sure we common folk are all kinds of disappointing for you.

Umm.... I don't think I've seen many 'magnificent socialites' walking around town. Actulually... Just you. It's a college town, hun. Textbooks are about as sophisticated as most of the customers are willing to get.

To mum, you mean? I figure I only have to lie if she still disagrees when I go. It's kind of fun to see just how far I can push her sometimes. XD
