I really like this -- it feels thoughtful and gentle to the characters without making everything too simple for them. Really nicely done.

I don't remember this episode or this character, but you've done a great job making her a believable, complicated, sympathetic person in just a short story. The characters I know sound just right and I really enjoyed seeing this other side to them.
