[admin] needy fandoms; ff.net link issues
Remix signups are still open! (they'll be open until next Wednesday)
I've done some fiddling around with the old algorithm (just in case) and while the final matches will probably be different (for numerous reasons), it gives me an idea of what fandoms are needed.
So, if you have friends who qualify (i.e., who have written the eligible number of stories) in the following fandoms, you should convince them to sign up:
Weiß Kreuz
Saiyuki
Naruto
Johnny's Entertainment
Bandom
Sherlock Holmes (2009)
White Collar
NCIS
Criminal Minds
Firefly
Good Omens
The West Wing
Sports Night
Star Trek: The Original Series
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
It would also be good if you and your friends were interested in remixing in some of those fandoms.
I still have many AO3 invite codes left, so if you need one, you can comment here to get one.
Also, the AO3 support folks are aware of the issue with using the FF.net link in your signup - it is a problem with the servers, but they're working on fixing the form so it doesn't break when you sign up with an FF.net URL. Please let them know if you have trouble signing up with any other URL(s). (Note: the box only allows one link - if you have more than one, please put the other links in the box with your safe story/previous remix details.)
