(Admin) Remix/Redux 7: Do you feel lucky?
You all thought you were safe, didn't you? You thought--understandably, given that we are already at the point when remix would be going live and nobody had mentioned it--that it wasn't going to happen at all this year. But no! It really, really is.
Before you get too excited about that, this would probably be the time to mention that musesfool has, in a moment of insanity, opted to let me run it this year. Yes, this is now the time when you can all be terrified. I certainly am.
Rest assured, however, that 1, I'm still going to make her do things to help with it (and by make, I know you know I mean ask very nicely), and 2, I'll try not to break it too badly. Most things will stay the same--same time frame, same minimum word count for remixes, and, like last year, there will still be a list of qualifying fandoms. There might be a couple of changes, but I'll talk more about them in future posts, because chances are, I'll want you guys to weigh in on at least one of them.
I'm not entirely sure of dates, so we'll go with a time frame of, you know, soonish. That gives me time to be sort of organised, and for you to think about the fandoms you want to play in, and, if your fandoms are smaller, to bully convince other people to play in them with you. (I find tears and/or threats are often effective, if you're after tips for that last part.)
