I loved the lost chances in this, the brothers pulled slowly apart, and the easy way Sirius can dismiss his brother - everything about his family - when his friends are close. No wonder he was going mad, trapped in that house with the ghosts he had fled.

This is wonderful and sad - seeing the closeness between the two brothers, and the way that fate and their family drove them apart. Sirius' bitterness at the end makes so much sense, with this context.
