Oh, my god. This was such a pleasure to read. It's beautiful and perfect and Jewish (which is totally my not-so-secret kink). Every drabble has both the spirit of the holiday and its iconography woven in, and finding them was almost like a game: the mountain and milk crate of Shavuot, the fire of 9 Av, the leaking roof of Sukkot. All these small holidays that are always forgotten in fics, brought to life with lovely, sensory descriptions.
Also, I have to comment on how beautifully this was adapted from the original - keeping the structure and small bits of character interaction and making the rest totally yours, with a Cuddy I love.
I'm so glad you liked it; I had hoped that you would. :-) And you found all of the hidden iconography, which I figured you would but it's still really exciting -- I feel like this story is a little treasure-hunt, and you found all of the hidden prizes. (Even the milk crate!)
Your story was a pleasure to work with; I really enjoyed reading it closely and figuring out how to spin it in this new way while retaining the genius of what you had done.
Squee! Holiday fic! I love this so much. I love your Cuddy and I love the way you use the holidays to say things about her. (I also love how it's like the original, but definitely a different story.)
This was absolutely gorgeous and a beautiful companion to the original. I'll definitely be adding this to my memories to go alongside the original. *nods*

Okay, have I said it's beautiful yet?
