It wasn't just news that another celebrity is pregnant, but it was a listener write-in about how Halle Berry is selfish because she's going through with this pregnancy even though she'

I'm fairly certain that babies are a damned if you do, damned if you don't type thing.

For me, everyone keeps telling me what I'm missing out on.

When my friends have babies, no matter what age - it's the wrong age. It's never right. lol.

If you're happy and doing the best you can, then.. you're happy and doing the best you can. <3 Children are hard.

Honestly, we didn't want to have kids because we liked our life as it was - finding a babysitter is hard, even though we have 3 sets of grandparents, 2 of which are willing to keep her overnight. But, we still can't just up and leave when friends invite us out last minute. We liked that.

Though, I find that I don't miss that as much as I thought it would. Elliott has been so great to go on trips, to go camping, hang out at the barn...

I feel "tied down", but I certainly don't feel like I'm missing anything.

And yes. Children are hard!

I don't think any of the people close to me in my life would judge me, however I choose to parent a hypothetical child. I'm sorry you have people who do, and so many of them.

You're a fantastic mother, and I think little Elliott is one of the best things that has ever happened to you.
