1. I've found a new pediatrician for Trent. Long story short: She has been looking at a growth chart for a normal child, instead of the growth chart for a child with Down syndrome. The chart she was using put him in the fifth percentile. The Down syndrome growth chart has him in the 25th percentile. Due to the wrong chart, she was advising me ( Read more... )

3. For a moment, my areas were a bit too warm, but then it felt good.

4. Minivans are just MADE for moms. I had one that Hurricane Katrina flooded. I loved that van. It was so convenient.

5. What is wrong with Mr. Ben? Poor guy. I hate to hear he is sick again.

We think he's vomiting because of his sinuses draining. He's playing a lot, in a good mood, no fever or anything. He has randomly thrown up twice. No warning or anything. He's super, super snotty though and coughs like he's clearing his throat every once in a while.

i'm glad things are looking up now that trent is being compared to a different growth chart. that must be a relief.

after all they hype, i started reading the twilight series. i'm about to finish book 2.

i have always wondered about yours and mine. i see the commercials all the time.

i would LOVE a minivan. right now we each have a station wagon, and while that's nice to have because of the dogs, i have to ride practically ON the dashboard because of the carseat behind me (when ang and i are in the car together, that is. he's behind the passenger seat, so if ang and i are not both in the car it's not a problem)

valentine's day is just a day to us too. we didn't do anything special other than spend it with our littlest valentine, the love of my life. we just spent the day in, had a friend over, and now are going to watch a movie. my kind of night. :)

How are you liking the Twilight series? I read them because one of my best friends just kept going on and on about them. I liked them a lot, but I didn't LOVE them and become obsessed with them like she did. I don't love them enough to buy them or anything. I think they're a fun read and an interesting story, but there are a LOT of stories I like more. *cough* Harry Potter *cough*

The Twilight series is on my list after Narnia and 'Tis. One of my friends told me that as much as I like Harry Potter, I should be a huge fan of Twilight. I doubted that statement then and now I doubt it even more. Vampires vs Harry Potter? I just don't know.

But I will give it a shot in a few months. It sure would be nice to get as wrapped up in something as I did with Harry Potter. I would like that feeling again.

For me, while I was reading it, I was very, very into them. But after I was done I was like... OK, that was fun. I just don't think they have the... I don't know, whatever quality it is that the Harry Potter books have that make them classics already.

i like them ok so far, but harry potter is so much better. for some reason i find vampires far fetched, but house elves and wizards not so much. weird, i know.

1. That is nuts that she was incapable of realizing the mistake, or explaining why she believed in her findings.

2. LOVE that book!

3. Rob and I were just talking about that...and he said, "I'll bet it is all hype. All that matters is the person you're with."

By the way, I LOVED the store & told some parents @ Owen's preschool about it. Would it be ok to give them the link?

#3. It helps but yeah, it isn't gonna change something that is bad or boring.

Please pass on the link. Times are tough, and I would love to make some sales.

How did the appointment at the salon go? Did you get all dolled up? I bet you look beautiful!
