Keith and I went to the petstore again yesterday. We talked to the girl who works with the ferrets, and found out they have job openings! I'll be sending in my resume this week. ^^ I think I will try working both at Petland and the aquarium this summer, since I won't have school. I'll see how that goes. Usually the greater Vancouver area will only get one snowfall in a winter. In early December, we got a good amount of snow. After I got Kipling, I was dissapointed that I would have to wait a year before him having the chance to see and play in snow. Well, I got very lucky. I wouldn't trade Kipling for any other ferret. He moans, whines, sneezes, coughs, hicups, burps and even sleeps with stuffed animals.

Kipling is so damn amusing sometimes. He has two favorite toys, a red, plush orca and a plush of Simba from The Lion King. Recently he started carrying the Simba plush around with him in the cage, even up the tunnels! Today I caught him sleeping with the Simba plush in his hammock, so I took a few pictures (which I will post in a couple days). ( Read more... )

I will elaborate more on this when I have the time, but yesterday Kipling vomited. ;_; The poor guy had been eating the corncob litter, which he cannot digest. He started thrashing around violently, shaking and vomiting (it was SPRAYING out, like in Team America O_O). We thought he was having a seizure at first... It was a horrible thing to see. During my lunch break, the gate between the med pool and back pool was closed. The photographer was there again during the training session with Helen and Number 8. Later on again, Laverne was put back into the medical pool, which obviously had me worried. But within an hour she was out again. X_x; It's like they're playing Musical Pools or ( Read more... )
