New job?
Keith and I went to the petstore again yesterday. We talked to the girl who works with the ferrets, and found out they have job openings! I'll be sending in my resume this week. ^^ I think I will try working both at Petland and the aquarium this summer, since I won't have school. I'll see how that goes. I have my fingers crossed.
Oh, lastnight we gave Kipling a bath. HE WAS SO CUTE. We noticed him tucking in his back feet, his butt floating, then he'd try to swim, though the water was too shallow. So, we added more water and he swam for a good five minutes. XD The water was shallow enough that he could still stand, but deep enough for him to swim a little. When we pulled him out, he made a cry/chirp that sounded EXACTLY like a sea otter! It was so fucking cute! At times, he would grip our hands with his paws while he was in the tub. We wouldn't pressure him into letting go, he would gradually do it on his own, then go swimming for a bit. Kipling was just adorable! It was good to see him having fun in the tub, and even better having him going to us for comfort and support.
Twitch, on the other hand, hates the water and continuously tried to jump out of the tub. We gave them seperate baths, seeing how Kipling acts just like Twitch when he sees her panic. We'll probably give Kipling the chance to go swimming more often. We never use shampoo on the ferrets in their baths, just water, so there's no worry about his skin drying out or him smelling bad from it.
The cage got a good cleanup, and even the dog got a bath. So it was a productive day. Yay. XD
In less good news, I gotta go to work today. I don't start until 12pm, so I don't need to leave the house until 10am. Woot.
