Today I visited some of Gromit's relatives -- specifically, a litter of Border Collie puppies from Gromit's mom, Fflur (different dad, so the pups are half-siblings to Gromit).  All the snow and cold lately has made me grouchy, but hanging out with puppies for a few hours really makes me a happy person!  I visited last weekend with Eli in tow -- ( Read more... )

I figure either someone I know, or a friend of someone I know, might be able to help me out ... I'd like to photograph my new knitting design in it's natural habitat :). The project is a lacy aviator scarf, in two versions. I'm done with the first (lacier) version -- see photo below. The other (sturdier) version will be done in about a week.
