It's all so unreal looking! And the shadow of the windowpanes is enough to make any ordinary picture all by itself, yet here it's almost beside the point, just because there's no much fascinating texture everywhere else to look at instead.

Yeah, and I thought the shadows on the walls were interesting too, even if they were getting a bit out of hand were jostling for attention with all the rest of the detail. But one can't art direct everything...

So much character in those walls, those tiles which seem to [almost] form a floating toilet? kitchen?

Too bad it's going to become one of those generic building soon [looks at the well-included construction information board in the last photo]

Floating toilet huh... you really should see this one. That, as well as this fascinating piece of Barcelona street art.

Actually this was taken sometime back in late 2003 or early 2004, so it may well have become some generic building already.

Hah, am really losing them marbles. The two photos I happened to choose to link to are actually of the same installation.

Those in the links are incredibly awesome, too! Well, you had to work with whatever's available, so that's one-up for you.

Your pic also reminds me of something similar that's between MacPherson and Bugis/Sungei Road... an old building, still standing, but with a former adjacent building torn down for some time. So you end up seeing the bare brick wall face on the old building's side.
