So much character in those walls, those tiles which seem to [almost] form a floating toilet? kitchen?

Too bad it's going to become one of those generic building soon [looks at the well-included construction information board in the last photo]

Floating toilet huh... you really should see this one. That, as well as this fascinating piece of Barcelona street art.

Actually this was taken sometime back in late 2003 or early 2004, so it may well have become some generic building already.

Hah, am really losing them marbles. The two photos I happened to choose to link to are actually of the same installation.

Those in the links are incredibly awesome, too! Well, you had to work with whatever's available, so that's one-up for you.

Your pic also reminds me of something similar that's between MacPherson and Bugis/Sungei Road... an old building, still standing, but with a former adjacent building torn down for some time. So you end up seeing the bare brick wall face on the old building's side.

Heh, go take pictures! Seems like there's a lot of ruin around the Macpherson area. I vaguely recall passing some abandoned light industrial building but never saw it again (I did think it was by the train tracks, but I never passed it again on the MRT, so I suppose it must've been along some bus route) and someone else I know said he'd gone wandering around Macpherson and found this abandoned condo or something.

Or perhaps, for somewhere more central, you can just very accidentally and casually wander into the huge tunnel, located at where the previous National Library used to stand.

A photojournalist acquaintance of mine did just that...

Thanks for the tip... I shall have to try that someday soon. Or why don't you, next time you're in the vicinity?

Are you daring me back again? *ahem*

Anyhow, let's keep those random photo-ops coming.

Of course it's a dare. *smiles benignly*
