I'm not sure. He says his wish was granted but at the same time he plans on running the shop which he pretty much needs to see spirits for. I kind of think that in exchange for being unable to leave the shop, he gained new powers (like not aging).

I know. I had hope for Watanuki - I really did, but I also had a feeling he'd do something stupid like this. T_T
