Horitsuba made me realized that the Fay in Tsubasa is really a combination of "Fay" and "Yuuy". I guess it's like what Yuuko said in Holic, an object takes on the power of a name. But in Horitsuba...yeah. He's way too one dimensional. It's funny for a while but I don't think I could stand a whole series like that.
It throws me off as well. The only people that called him Kimihiro were his deceased parents and now Kohane. When you start spouting that name I'm sure most TRC only readers are going "bwuh?".
One dimensional, that's exactly it. Everything that made me love Fay is gone from Horitsuba. I didn't really noticed that until I started going back over the Horitsuba stuff and began writing. It makes me really glad now that Horitsuba isn't an actual series.
I actually forgot that Kohane calls him 'Kimihiro' but still, her role in the story is small compared to Yuuko, Doumeki and Himawari.
