Snazzy music.

[Absent-minded talk. That's all it is. A hum, and the video flickers on, bringing to focus a pleasant-looking young man of indeterminate age. In the background is a plethora of leaves, some of which whose stems are perched on branches that are currently poking him in the back of the head, but you can't see that. What you can see is ( Read more... )

but not really, at least it wasn't snakes, !video, thoughtful is his middle name, ... there's a point?, he's not too concerned, well this is a fine welcome, in a tree; being a damsel, kind of missing the point, !action, one tree at a time, heroic types needed, gored by rhino

[He just gets out of the Pokemon Center and fffff is that a rhino cornering a person up the tree?! The boy's Heracross is trotting behind him and it starts staring at Rhyhorn, wanting to make an approach.

However, Daisuke does not want. Ever.

But he fails in keeping his Heracross where he's supposed to be because it just makes its way to the Rhyhorn and stands beside it.]

[fffff Daisuke is one prudent young man. Granted, this rhino might be a nice rhino. It might visit its grandma every Saturday and donate weekly to the Small and Underestimated Rhinos Association. It might even help little psyducks cross the street whenever it can. However, even a nice rhino is 253.5 lbs worth of rhino, and that's a lot of rhino that you don't want sitting on your head.

And man that rhyhorn wants to sit on your head right now. Giving you a glare here. What are you and why are you standing next to it, and if you don't move in the next five seconds, you are going to get it.

... Fuji isn't that concerned, however. Since. Well. It's not his rhino and it's not his giant beetle, and whoo he's actually waving at you right now.

Have a finger jab towards your Heracross from his position up on the tree.]

It can't fly, can it? Or is it yours? If that's the case, I'd feel marginally better. [Amused look.] It's one less thing that wants me out of this tree.

It's not yours?

[PUNK, I WILL STAND WHEREVER I WANNA STAND. Heracross folds his arms, looking at Rhyhorn with a defiant look. The Rhyhorn stares back at Heracross also. Daisuke is very intimidated by the two Pokemon because this was a giant beetle and a rhino showdown. There was no way he was going to get in between this.]

Well, I've never really gotten along with animals, but even I've never had a pet try to gore me upon first meeting.

[Considering this!

OH NO YOU DON'T 8( Rhyhorn snorting. You can't touch this, silly beetle thing. Lowering his horn! He is preparing to charge and start dictating where you stand, Heracross. What do?!]

I'm not sure if I want to go down there and ask him myself. You don't suppose there's a quick button that I can press to check?

It might not look nice, but it'd be one of the more interesting entries, I'd imagine ― relatively speaking.

[wry] It would be, if it even gets that far. Now that I think about it, 'was gored by rhino' is the sort of witty thing that ends up on epitaphs.

Which is too bad, considering not a lot of good words rhyme with 'rhino'.

How unfortunate for you.

What did you do to it?

Isn't it?

And as cliche as it sounds -- it wasn't me. I suppose you could say I was framed.
