Sometimes... you scare me just a bit. Then I think, "Wow... that's totally awesome!" and the fear just goes away.

Sometimes I scare myself. But just think -- for this fic? These represent about one-fifteenth / one-twentieth the number of things I've referenced/researched. This is why pretty much everything in what I write has, like, eighty bazillion reasons for existing.

Seriously, when I write a fic, I just toss things in and fact check a little later. Though, with your fics, I can understand why you might need to do a lot more research. You like including zombies and voodoo and witches and old cultures. S'what gives your fics that real feeling.

Just call it the grad student in me? I like knowing that what I'm writing is close to authentic, that I'm approaching things with respect and as much truthfulness as possible -- and that what I make up might, in fact, be possible within the confines of whichever system of belief I'm using.

S'what gives your fics that real feeling.

It's also, if tonnes and tonnes of people are to be believed, what sends everyone running to Google things in every fic I write. Which I've yet to decide is a bad thing or a good thing, but at least people are, um, learning as they read?

LOL No freaking kidding. I was looking at monsterous.com and *grimaces* It's not the most clear. I'm looking for demons that would be on the same level as Azazel or higher, that wouldn't know what he was up to with the psykids. This is, of course, easier said than done >.<;;;
