I'm not sure if this is in the rules, but I came across something curious while reading Vanity Fair. George, as everyone knows, is seen as quite the player, and his horse is named "Greased lightning" I was wondering if perhaps that's what inspired the song in "Grease" or if that phrase was ever former slang for a horse that moves quickly ( Read more... )

Dear everyone,
I've had this unbearable urge to change my myspace layout to a regency layout, however I'm having the most difficulty finding a backround to fit that. Anyone got a place with a good collection of wallpapers or something?

That, and I want my default picture to kind of match, any tips on the hair and a make shift regency top?

I have found myself completely out of luck, as I am looking for an RPG to join with the obvious theme of the regency area. However, it seems that everytime I come across one, it has either already died or it is too far along to introduce new characters (the latter is obviously the rarer) So I've come seeking help where it is most likely to be found ( Read more... )

I am new to the Regency period.  I was drawn in by the prospect of attending Queen Charlotte's Birthday Ball in Toronto, Canada.  Does anyone else here attend this?  I am having *no* luck getting info from the organizers (friends of fort york) and I cannot prepare properly if I don't know if I'll be able to go.   The ad I do have doesn't specify ( Read more... )
