( world read aloud day )

Superquick, since I only have 12 minutes until today is over (unless I want to lie and back-date it): Today was World Read Aloud Day. Obviously, this is a Day that is relevant to my interests. However, I didn't want to post any podfic (because I want ALL THE POINTS)...so instead, you can hear me read you selections from my favorite of Shel ( Read more... )

Some of my very favorite poems as a kid (The Gardener, Red Flowers For You) were from this book - so, it was really great to get to re-read them, y'know? Happy listening!

Not gonna lie, I am an awesome babysitter! However, most of the kids I used to sit for are in about the eighth through eleventh grades now (all were V's and Middlest Sister's friends/age), so I don't et quite as much work as I once did. I do have a once-a-week sitting job for a 3-year-old who tells her mother weekly that I'm her favorite, though...

(Also - hope you enjoy the rest of the poems ^___^)
