I haven't had a chance to get on the computer for a while - I went to visit E in Salem for a week, and it was such a great week, I missed her so much - but guess what?
Thank you! I have to dress formally. Which isn't awful, but.... well, compared to nanny-ing, where all you need to wear to work are paint-proof jeans, it's a bit of an adjustment to make :-/
I´m so literal sometimes XD. I do remember being told for my last job that the dress code was formal casual and going a bit panicky, in the end this just meant "don´t wear blue jeans." Like, other types of jeans that looked more trousery were fine, leather dresses were alright, as were motorcycle boots but jeans could not be abided (this was a school so the leather dress was a bit unexpected, if pleasant). Anyway, think of all the quiet you compared to nannying :)
Thank you! It's going to cut into my podfic time.... to the point where I'm doubting my spot in the Top Three, come Amplificathon 2015. BUT the full-time paycheck will get me a new laptop, so it's all good ;-D
Thank you! It's funny in a not-very-ha-ha way - all the New Job Shine wore off, as soon as I started reading the 45-page Benefits And Insurance packet. But hey, a full time paycheck \o/
Thank you! It's going to be a shift - I'm leaving 'childcare professional' behind, for 'corporate real estate' - but I think I can do it. *crosses fingers*

Also, I have to ask, mandatory pantyhose? As in you need to dress formally or you actually cannot wear dress trousers? :s
