(in which i have some very exciting news)
I haven't had a chance to get on the computer for a while - I went to visit E in Salem for a week, and it was such a great week, I missed her so much - but guess what?
Remember when I posted Cards Agains Certain Avengers, and I said I was having a really good day? I'd had a follow-up interview that morning that went really well…. and a week later, I was getting a phone call from outside the Witch Museum in Salem, saying YOU'RE HIRED. It's crazy - I'm going to be gainfully employed, in New York City, in a building that needs ID to enter. I'm going to have my own desk! Unfortunately, I'm going to have to wear pantyhose.
But, seriously, so much awesome in my life right now. I'm so blessed, I can't even deal. My four-year podficiversary is coming up (so I'll be doing a week of podficular celebration leading up to it, starting tomorrow), pod_together is going live in the next week or so (I conned sirona_gs into writing something short), I attended this month's Fandom Brunch and met so many amazing people…. just, my life is overflowing with all the good things.
It almost makes up for the mandatory pantyhose.
