Instead of all the current drivel on SyFy, why don't they start
airing Farscape?
There are a number of us out here who never watched it.
I am really beginning to zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz out by
ghost hunters and forget what the other schtick that
they are airing ad nauseam
I guess about as much imagination as the drones who wrote for
SGA.......

They did air Farscape for a hot second, and they didn't even start from the beginning. Ha! My boss just said, "What's See-Fee?" Silly Skiffy. They changed their name in part to stop people from calling them 'skiffy'. Whatever. They used to have the most kickass line-up on Fridays: vR5, American Gothic, Harsh Realm, and Poltergeist: The Legacy. That was a reason to stay home! All those oldies but goodies. I haven't seen Warehouse 13 yet, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. I mean, Joe will guest star in an upcoming ep.

TPTB that write sci-fi are getting stale. Paranormal. Aliens. Space. Weirdness. Weird paranormal aliens from space. Is that all ya got? I know Sci Fi, er, Sy Fy, has it in them. They used to have great original movies too. Encrypt was my favorite, along with Cube (umpteenth, can't remember.) Stargate was unique. (watching SG:U thru squinty eyes!)

They need to let some fans of the dying genre of sci-fi write! Me! ME! Pick me!

I have no idea. I figure they're gonna have to do some fancy footwork to convince me that this storyline makes sense. Even the cast of misfits are a little too... misfit-ish? There's just no rhyme or reason. So I decided to hear the panel.

Well, I won't be there as a matter of principal. I don't know anything about it other than they are making it. I assume the cast is young since they are supposed to be "targeting a younger audience" by getting younger stars ( ... )

I completely agree with you! My presence there is for two reasons: a) See if there's gonna be a fight. I'm hoping for some righteous fan indignation. I've seen it before, and hopefully they've got it in them! And b) Be placeholder for my friend who wants to be in on the Caprica/BSG panel that's right after ( ... )

I have no idea where we're staying. I just saw my invoice for our little co-op. I know it's right on the trolley line. Somewhere. LOL I should know soon. I cannot wait to geek out! I had buttons made!

We're staying at a Days Inn. I'm flying into LAX on the 21st, and we're driving first thing Wednesday.

neat! i sent you a private lj message with my phone #. we fly in on wednesday and karl will be at the SLG table much of the convention. i will will be wandering about and having cocktails for much of the convention. hopefully we can hook up! :)
