Perusing the Friday sched.

WTF? You cannot schedule Farscape and Stargate: Universe at the same time! Bitches.

Um, did you do this to me again? Grrr! Bones and Eureka? So evil! I'll have to get me some David Boreanaz since Colin Ferguson is not scheduled to appear as of today.

I completely agree with you! My presence there is for two reasons: a) See if there's gonna be a fight. I'm hoping for some righteous fan indignation. I've seen it before, and hopefully they've got it in them! And b) Be placeholder for my friend who wants to be in on the Caprica/BSG panel that's right after.

To be honest, I haven't read much the series. I saw a cast photo, and I'm fairly sure Lou Diamond Phillips and Robert Carlyle (what? eew) are not younger than Joe Flanigan. But then Joe is very pretty. There's too many women, and the "younger" men look like cocky jerks. And then there's the fat kid, obviously he's been scape-goated for levity.

When I first heard about it, TPTB kept comparing the new characters to old ones. Uh, hello? Why not just use the old characters? There's not overlap, and no explanation for this show. I'm really, really curious how the producers are going to justify it. Kinda feel sorry for the actors though. It's not really their fault. Justin Long, RC and LDP are the vets; the rest are unknowns.

I'm taking a digital recorder because I so need to hear the excuses!

I have no idea who any of the cast are - don't want to know. It is sad for them as you are right, it isn't their fault. They are kind of stuck in the middle. I have to admit to being interested in hearing about any angry SGA fans making their opinions known. Don't really care about TPTB pitiful lies and excuses though -I've heard and read enough of those to make me want to puke.

But I stand by my decision to make a statement and fervently hope that enough others make the same statement - that you can't jerk us around and expect us to keep following. In the words of Gomer Pyle, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."

Tell me how you really feel! LOL

I'm glad I haven't been reading any of that stuff. I don't have an interest in watching the show, but I'm curious and I want to understand. It's not often I hope for a show to fail, especially if it's sci fi.

There's no way this show can win! *crosses fingers* I'm already creating a season 6 in my head anyway.

I will just as soon as I deal with Big Bang. (seriously? what was I thinking!)

And I envision lots of ShepLantis. At the last con I went to featuring the pretty one, he said something that I've been dying to explore. He said there had to be a reason for Sheppard and why he can do the things he does with his gene. So I've been doing a lot of toying and tinkering. Came up with the plot for my BB fic, and now I think I have enough for at least a couple fics.

Yes, Big Bang AND ShepLantis fics!!!! Man, what more could I want? (I'm having the same thought about Big Bang - what was I thinking?)
