I found a link that attempts to explain Prometheus. I found it very helpful.

CONTAINS SPOILERS. But I think you would enjoy the movie more if you read this first.

Shame was indeed very sad...

As far as I know it had 2 seasons. They can both stand alone, because S2 had a completely different storyline. S1 pretty much finished with the revealing of Nanna's killer.

Whatever you do, do not go to IMBD. Those people have no idea what a spoiler tag is and it is very probable that the 2 shows had different killers (not sure as I have not seen the American S2 yet).
