M canon is so COMPLICATED, y'all, what with the multiple comic universes and movies, etc

THIS while I loved playing in the fandom it was so difficult to make everyonehappy because you had to be careful with all the differences that were made, past histories that were rewritten between comic, TV, other comics... It needs it's own database to even hope to keep it somewhat straight or you have to list what "verse" you are referring to. *facepalm* There was a lot of Charles/Erik hate years ago, so if you shipped them people were unhappy. *sighs* Those were the days ( ... )

Oh, man, I can imagine. I went to check one thing -- ONE THING -- on wiki and ended up following links for hours. And forgot what I was originally even looking for. OMG COMPLICATED FANDOM IS COMPLICATED.
