01. Hellcats, YOU WIN AT LIFE. I can already tell this show is gonna be like crack for me. Gale is gonna fit right in. Especially if they give him some quirky humor to work with. And a boyfriend. ( Hellcats, 1.01 )

We will never see Gale on this show..That's his role. He's on the program but we
will never see him.
He is getting the top salary for his invisible part. .

This is so very off-topic, but I know approximately .0152 other people who would appreciate this:

So, I was ragging on some classic books with some anons and I wanted to make a comment about the unabridged version of Les Miserables and the beginning where Victor Hugo goes on and on about the state of the Bishop's finances or something. Thing was, I didn't have my book and I couldn't remember if the section was as long as I remembered, so I went to Google. This was result number five.

I have no trouble believing Justin would read the unabridged Les Mis. And quote it at length. From memory. In French. Preferably anytime one of The Guys made a crack about his age. idk I get to go home and stay home around 4:00 so I am ~excite~ about everything.

idk, I just have this headcanon where at least one of the Guys (usually Ted, i don't know stop judging) was being all "omg justin is so young ur goin pick up ur bf from his high school bri that's so cute lol" and then Justin walks up talking to Daphne on his phone like "stfu whore, the character of Lucky in Godot was representative of nature and the human condition to destroy it. He's both treated and referred to as an animal, which is part of nature, which is controlled by man. Man learns beautiful things from it, but will just as soon destroy it, or get rid of it, when it becomes useless...stop trying to bring post-modernism into this, it's got nothing to do with it...not with the relationship of Lucky and Pozzo it doesn't....no, Daphne. No. No. Oh my god Daphne, do you even know what post-modernism is? Look, you're making my soul hurt right now, so I'm gonna go. [hangs up] Hey guize. I am in the middle of a rewatch myself. It is so awesome, and just gets better as the series goes on. Sit back and enjoy, bb. It is a great series to rewatch too because you miss a lot the first time due to all that military lingo and not being able to tell all the pretty-boys-in-camo apart. Or at least I did.

Ahem. Anyhow. Askars is completely dorkalicious. You must check out his interviews and Swedish roles on YouTube. Here is an epic behind-the-scenes drunken homoerotic dance clip to kick things off. Slightly cringe-worthy, yet oh so funny.

Love those Hellcats routines! How have I never watched "Rock & Roll HS" from this same director? Must.fix.now.

Cult film directed by Allan Arkush, who directed "Hellcats" pilot, chose the music, and is the showrunner for the series. He's the one who used to be a roadie, according to that mag with the pretty Gale pic. He also directed lots of "Heroes" eps, including 4.18. I'm counting on him to work Gale singing another Ramones song into this series.
