Thanks so much for sharing this!!! :) And I really enjoyed reading what you thought of the movie. I hope it will be released on DVD, otherwise I'll never get to see it and I miss The Gale...

Awww, my pleasure. And with the movie in theatre negotiations, I think the odds on a DVD release are v. good! :D

Thank you, thank you. Your coverage of the movie, and the pictures, and the personal notes, and the observations made me feel as if I was there. Except I didn't get to see the movie. Gale was made for this kind of role. He could do anything Cary Grant did, and Cary was a legend in his time, and famous for his comedic roles.
Loved tall skinny Galepole. I can just picture you giving it a hug. I hope you left a kiss on its bare frame, too.
You are a true fangirl. I'm proud of you.

Alas, I refrained from kissing it. I didn't want to get teh syphillis. >;D

It was so fun, Suz! :D And, omg, it totally does. Or, if all else fails, you need to come to the States again when it get released here. Maybe time it to a Randy-on-stage date or something. ;D

Okay since Gale wasn't there can I spare a moment to fangirl over Ed? 'Cause this At the start of the Q&A, Fay asked if the rumor were true that Ed Asner was in the audience. "Not at all," he spoke up not far away from her. You could tell she was delighted and went on to tell us how she'd introduced herself to him in a restaurant, told him she enjoyed his work then explained how her film was being screened at the festival and invited him to come. "And he came!" she laughed. is just waaay to cute for words. Who does that? Seriously!

Now that you've mentioned it, I kinda hope that Fay doesn't fix the little editorial glitch with the subtitles.

Love your Reecap even if it has set off my impatient button and I want to see 40ft!Gale more than ever :D I shall take comfort in Jindabyne playing at the festival, too. I have been to Jindabyne and since the movie was in the same movie space as Gale's it is like I was there. That's my logic and I'm sticking to it!

I KNOW RIGHT. Makes me love him all the more. And on top of that, he didn't look all that healthy and for him to come out late at night, well, I just love him. Such a sweetie.

Heee. I wouldn't mind if she didn't fix it either. Though, at the same time, I am curious exactly what she said to her dad. ;D

And, omg, I like your logic. Stick to it, baby! :X
