The headache scale
Compliments of Blushing_Grace's link to the hysterical explanation of Hyperbole and a Half's pain scale, I'm attempting to define my version of a headache pain scale. This is mostly for the atypical migraines that I've been suffering.
ETA: It has been modified to note where "headache" turns into "migraine."

Home again!
I love my parents, and I'm glad I went out to CA for Thanksgiving, but I'm also glad I'm home. CK and I had a very smooth trip there and back (give or take a canceled flight and luggage that showed up a day later). He slept well enough while we were out there. Is it allergies or a cold?
My eyes have been itching horribly for over a day now. And I can't seem to clear my nose or my ears. My face is really red, too. Snort snork. I'm going to have to cancel my blood donation appointment for this morning just in case. -
Weekend roundup
Friday night was housework, laundry, and waiting for CK to get home. Cookie was back to being his regular self, so putting out hay took longer and was more fun (and had more contentment) that usual. I also watered the pastures ( Read more... ) -

The doctor was most displeased with me this morning. I still have bronchitis. Ok, I have bronchitis again. I spent last night trying to cough my lungs up, so I'm pretty tired and out of sorts.

Still sick, happily tired; Cast in Chaos is done
I'm still sick. I've had sufficient mentholated cough drops to make me sick to my stomach. I'm not sure if it's the medication or the cold that is causing the dizziness. Either way, I know it's temporary, and I wasn't driving today.

Sunscreen is messing with my DNA
In a timely and interesting post, pictsy noted that many sunscreens have all kinds of chemicals that are evil.
According to this website, my sunscreen is pretty high on the evil scale. *sigh* I will have to go find something a tad less manipulative on the cellular level. sickEyes like limpid pools of tomato juice
I have no idea if something has just started blooming or if we are enjoying a code red air quality day. My nose is running, and my eyes ITCH like I rubbed them with someone else's cat. I had a headache that lasted all weekend. I still have the sniffles. At this point, I have to concede that either I have quite a summer cold, I have a sinus infection, or that this is some monster allergies. A nearly-two-week-long summer cold is rediculous. ::sigh::
