Cats needing homes
As mentioned previously and by others, Tamnonlinear's six cats need new homes. I am happy to help with transportation if anyone outside of MD is willing to take them. The camp counselors at Wilderness Adventure Camp sent me photos of the team out there. There is a good shot of all seven trotting down the trail together (taken prior to Scout and Madeline joining). At one point, Dahlia got into the children's playset and owned the lookout platform.

Both summer camps have reported non-standard poop this weekend. I checked out the Woodland camp, decided that Dahlia could use another deworming, and showed up with medication 24 hours later to find her poop was normal again. We conferenced about the possibility of just a bit of tummy upset, and agreed on more baking soda being offered. Scout and Madeline are settling into the idea that they are temporary backyard goats. Initially, they were not all that excited about actually doing their lawn-mowing jobs. There was a bit of upset - particularly by Scout - that the goats were not allowed in the house. Taraflutterby recently gained a new house. Her new house came with a beautiful lawn, a budding orchard, and a backyard full of everything from poison ivy to wild blackberry. Last Thursday, I finished the thumbs on my mittens. Yesterday I finished my mitts. The yarn for the mittens was Gale Art - Goth Girl, and the mitts are from 716knits - Dirty Evil Tint. The mittens fit my hands perfectly. The mitts on the other hand... They are much more of a size for AmazonMink.
